In a powerful step toward transforming school education, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)<\/strong> and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi)<\/strong> have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong> to strengthen STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)<\/strong> learning for students and teachers across India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This milestone marks the first-ever collaboration between KVS and any IIT<\/strong> for STEM outreach \u2014 a move that aligns perfectly with Wayo Labs Junior\u2019s mission<\/strong> to inspire young minds and make technology education more engaging and accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership builds on IIT Delhi\u2019s ongoing outreach efforts like the Sci Tech Spins (STS) Lecture Series<\/strong>, which has already reached over 3,000 KV students from Delhi-NCR<\/strong> this year. These sessions bring scientific concepts to life through fun experiments, hands-on activities, and real-world examples that spark imagination and curiosity among learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the MoU signing event, key representatives from IIT Delhi \u2014 including Prof. Rangan Banerjee (Director)<\/strong>, Prof. Arvind K. Nema (Deputy Director, Operations)<\/strong>, and Prof. Dhanya (Dean, Academics)<\/strong> \u2014 joined Smt. Prachi Pandey, IA&AS, Commissioner, KVS and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education<\/strong>. They discussed how existing IIT Delhi initiatives, such as Manasvi: A STEM Mentorship Programme for High School Girls<\/em>, could be expanded to benefit more students and educators across the KVS network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the collaboration, KV students and teachers<\/strong> will get hands-on exposure to innovative STEM activities<\/strong> conducted by IIT Delhi\u2019s Office of Academic Outreach & New Initiatives. IITD faculty and student mentors will also conduct interactive workshops<\/strong> in KV schools \u2014 blending classroom learning with real-world applications of science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers will receive specialized training in emerging tech tools and modern teaching methods<\/strong>, enabling them to create more engaging, inquiry-based classrooms. A structured feedback system will ensure that both students and educators help shape the evolution of these programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
